Before proceeding, if you are a new volunteer, please contact the Volunteer Department for more info on how to get started.

If you are a current volunteer and are able to help with one of our openings, please sign up online by clicking the "target" icon for the route and day you would like to volunteer, or you can give us a call - 614.437.2891. If you sign up online, a driver supervisor will send you an email to confirm your assignment.

Volunteering for a Holiday:

LifeCare Alliance runs its holiday routes (New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day) like weekend routes. Holiday routes will appear as the last set of routes on the Help Wanted Page.

LifeCare Alliance does not run alternate delivery schedules for the following holidays: Presidents' Day, Good Friday, Easter, Columbus Day, Veterans' Day, Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve.

Helpful Hints:

1. If you are interested in serving as a substitute driver in the future, please save this link to your “favorites,” so that you can review routes in a need of a driver, as your schedule allows.

2. After reviewing the available openings, if the drop time and/or drop site for your selected route does not work for you, accept the assignment online and send a separate email using the "Using our Contact Form" link at the bottom of the welcome message. Of course, you can also call the driver supervisors at 614.437.2891.

3. If after accepting an open route you are no longer able to substitute for the selected route, please call the driver supervisors, send an email using the "Using our Contact Form" link at the bottom of the welcome message, or you can email the driver supervisors at mowdriverssupervisors@lifecarealliance.org.

4. If you would like to review route openings into the future, you can click the "arrow" icon next to the date range beneath the welcome message. This will show all future route openings that are in need of a substitute driver. To select one of these routes, you follow the same process as accepting a route for the current time period.
